In partnership with Robert Eggers' Werwulf and Focus Features, Heretic presents a fragrance that's as feral as the forest itself. Þe Wode Hath Teth opens with a lungful of smoke and ash, sharpened by juniper berry, like old air drawn through a dying fire. In the heart, pepper and carrot seed crack through resinous gurjun blossom, earthy and strange, like roots from frozen soil.

The forest breatheth in winter.
Smoke drifteth through black branches, where juniper hath burned in olde rites to keep wolves away.
Beneath the snow, the earth sweats resin, rot, and damp root.
Moss clingeth to oak bark like dark fur.
Somewhere in the trees, something stirreth.
The wood is older than the village. And it is hungry.

Our fragrances are genderless, and may be worn by all. We use plant-derived essences that are light and sheer. Reapply as the day wears on, so that the scent may linger.
